Microphone Permission

• Purpose: To enable voice input for searching recipes and adding ingredients
• Usage: Audio is processed in real-time for speech-to-text conversion and is not stored
• Control: You can deny or revoke microphone access at any time through your device settings

Photo Library Permission

• Purpose: To select images of ingredients from your photo library for scanning
• Usage: Selected photos are processed to identify ingredients and are not uploaded to our servers
• Control: You can deny or revoke photo library access at any time through your device settings

Usage Data

We automatically collect:

• App usage patterns and interactions
• Recipe generation history
• Ingredient inventory data
• Calorie and spending tracking data
• Device information (device type, operating system)

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the App's Settings screen or by contacting us.

Account Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. To do so:

1. Open the Matbakhli app
2. Go to Settings
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete Account
4. Confirm deletion by typing "DELETE"

Upon deletion, all your personal data — including your profile, recipes, ingredients, calorie logs, and spending data — will be permanently removed from our servers. This action cannot be undone.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data

• Delete your account and data
• Opt-out of non-essential data collection

Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
